CHRISTIAN HOSPICE PARKING LOT
The GUCA Community Service Committee has identified the Southwest Christian Hospice parking lot as one of its projects for the year. Several years ago, GUCA installed a parking lot for the Southwest Christian Hospice. Over time, the ground beneath the pavement has settled and has resulted in a dip in the parking lot. Strack, Inc. and Willow Construction, Inc. investigated the problem and decided the best solution would be to fill the sunken parts of the parking lot and repave the entire lot. Western Summit Constructors, Inc.. and H’s Masonry, Inc. will donate the cost to complete this work. |

Scarbrough, Brent Scarbrough & Co., Inc., completed this project for a ball field for handicap children in
Fayette County. GUCA
company members Foley Products, Inc.; Ferguson Waterworks and
Southeast Culvert also donated materials to this project. The first
of these ball fields was built in Conyers, Georgia, and now there are
more than 100 plans for fields similar to this one around the country.
