More than twenty students from the Central Education Center Construction Department in Newnan, Georgia took part in a rare opportunity to view a large utility construction project that is being built in their backyard that will assist communities in their region for years to come. This out-of-classroom experience provided a first hand view of what construction is all about.

Clayton County Students visit Wastewater Treatment Site
in Locust Grove, Georgia

Students from Forest Park High School, Jonesboro High School, Lovejoy High School, Mount Zion High School, Morrow High School and North Clayton High School, visit the Holt & Mahone Constructors, Inc. wastewater treatment job site - work that the Georgia public can only see from the sidelines.

Students visit Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport Job Site
March 18, 2004
On March 18, 2004, students from local high schools spent half a day viewing the work in progress at the Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport job site. Students were able to further their understanding of utility construction work as they were able to speak with on-site managers and foremen.
