Jordan Estess is Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Estess Utility Services, a Georgia-based civil and utility contractor serving electric utilities, municipalities, developers, and commercial clients throughout the Southeast.
Jordan began his utility career in 2010 working on electric line crews. His early experience included distribution construction as a contractor for Alabama Power before joining Georgia Power’s Transmission Line Construction organization in 2013. He earned his Journeyman Lineman classification in 2016 and continued working in transmission construction through 2020.
That field experience provided Jordan with a firsthand understanding of utility construction, right-of-way conditions, access requirements, safety expectations, and the coordination required to successfully support transmission projects.
Jordan and Courtney Estess established Estess Utility Services in 2017. In 2020, Jordan transitioned from Georgia Power to the business full-time as Chief Operating Officer and helped lead the company’s expansion into utility right-of-way access construction, civil site development, clearing, grading, drainage, road construction, crane pads, substation site preparation, and related infrastructure services.
Today, Estess Utility Services works with major electric utilities, developers, and commercial clients throughout Georgia and Alabama. Jordan remains actively involved in company operations, customer relationships, project strategy, and the continued development of the company’s management team and field capabilities.
