In 2010, I embarked on a journey that laid the foundation for my professional career, commencing as an apprentice lineman. For 4 years, I immersed myself in the intricacies of the trade, mastering its essential skills and cultivating a deep understanding of the industry's nuances.
Upon earning my Journeyman Ticket in 2016, I embarked on a rewarding relationship with Georgia Power, where I contributed to the company's mission of building and maintaining Transmission Lines. During my 8 years with Georgia Power, I further refined my expertise and gained invaluable experience that would shape my future endeavors.
In 2020, fueled by a desire to take on new challenges and drive meaningful change, I made the pivotal decision to transition to Estess Utility Services (EUS) as its Chief Operations Officer. Co-establishing this clearing and grading business in 2017, I witnessed its remarkable growth trajectory firsthand over the subsequent three years. This growth afforded me the opportunity to assume a supervisory role, where I played a pivotal role in overseeing operations and ensuring the continued success of the organization.
As the COO of EUS, I have had the privilege of cultivating partnerships and fostering enduring relationships with a diverse range of clients, spanning residential, commercial, and municipal sectors. Our commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned us as a rapidly expanding small business, steadfastly pursuing opportunities in forestry management, grading, utility support, Right-of Way access construction and vegetation management.
Now, as the owner of Estess Utility Services, my vision is clear: to leverage our expertise, drive, and passion to continuously expand our operational footprint, create meaningful connections, and make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
